I’ve been pleating grosgrain ribbons (with a pleating machine, not by hand), smocking them, and toying with the idea of making bracelets. This one was pleated sometime last year and I did the smocking with pink thread today.
I pinned it on myself (you can see the yellow pin if you look closely) because I haven’t decided how I’d like to attach it. Maybe velcro so it will be somewhat adjustable or maybe elastic, which wouldn’t be adjustable, but also wouldn’t get attached to other things I’m wearing. (I have a love/hate relationship with velcro. I also like to put things in parentheses, it’s like I’m whispering.) Happy Wednesday!
